In this role, you will play a key part in assisting the Administration team with the execution of technical administration tasks and calculations for a defined Benefit Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Performing calculations and managing member correspondence, ensuring timely completion within service level agreements.Handling calculations and correspondence for high earners, adhering to legislative requirements for protection.Conducting quality assurance checks on colleague communications from a technical and regulatory standpoint.Updating and reconciling worklists to ensure compliance with standards.Reviewing transfer cases to guarantee adherence to regulations.Managing email correspondence and overseeing the team’s email inboxes.Assisting auditors with inquiries during the annual audit process.Completing and reviewing intricate member calculations while maintaining all calculation service level agreements.Evaluating complaint and historic pension transfer cases, authorizing daily payments.Supporting processes to uphold compliance and reduce escalations and complaints.Providing assistance and testing for cyclic and key projects.Supporting the team in professional development exams and taking initiative to enhance processes and drive efficiency.Required Qualifications
Experience in DB Pension Scheme administration.Background in either in-house or third-party administration.Proficient in technical benefit calculations.Current knowledge of UK Pensions legislation.Strong prioritization and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Collaborative team player with a willingness to assist others.Highly motivated and eager to learn.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Familiarity with UK Pension Schemes.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
