This role will require you to manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring compliance with all relevant UK pensions legislation. You will be responsible for performing calculations and managing member correspondence, ensuring completion within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Key Responsibilities- Perform calculations and manage member correspondence, ensuring completion within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Handle calculations and correspondence for high earners, including management of legislative controls for protection.
- Conduct QA checks on colleague communications, ensuring compliance with pension regulations.
- Update and reconcile worklists to maintain compliance.
- Review transfer cases to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Manage email correspondence and team inboxes efficiently.
- Assist auditors with queries during the annual audit process.
- Complete and review complex member calculations, maintaining SLA standards.
- Review complaint/historic pension transfer cases and authorize daily payments.
- Support processes to maintain compliance and minimize escalations and complaints.
- Provide support and testing for cyclic and key projects.
- Assist the team in preparing for PMI exams and proactively suggest process improvements to drive efficiency.
- Extensive experience in DB Pension Scheme administration.
- Experience within in-house or third-party administration environments.
- Expertise in technical benefit calculations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK pensions legislation.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong team ethic and a willingness to assist others.
- Highly motivated with a keen desire to learn.
- Strong numeracy and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
