Job Title: Senior Consultant - M&A, Infrastructure Technical Due Diligence

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our M&A, Infrastructure Technical Due Diligence team. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to deliver technical due diligence services on buy-side, sell-side, and project financing deals.

About the Role:
  • Deliver proposals, including development of company profiles, scopes of work, scheduling, and commercial terms;
  • Assist/lead on projects providing technical, operational, and business plan evaluation of proposed investments on infrastructure assets;
  • Assist/lead on coordination of project deliverables, including Q&A submissions, management sessions, client meetings, and report delivery;
  • Work effectively across technical communities within ERM and subcontractors to support project delivery and client interaction;
  • Complete internal development tasks to improve the functionality of the infrastructure service line.
Requirements:
  • A solid academic background with an engineering bias (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering);
  • Significant technical consulting and/or engineering experience within the energy/infrastructure sectors;
  • Strong technical skills and ability to identify risks and opportunities within technical documentation, site visits, and technical discussions;
  • Ability to promote and execute quality work, ensuring high standards are achieved;
  • Advanced report writing skills;
  • Ability to manage or assist with complex project delivery, coordinating multiple workstreams into client deliverables;
  • Interest in domestic and overseas travel for site visits;
  • Management of previous external client projects;
  • Experience in developing and/or managing CAPEX and OPEX for development projects or operating assets, supporting business case preparation, and budgeting.
