Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Financial Director to lead our hotel finance team and contribute to our ongoing success.

About the Role:

The Senior Financial Director will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, ensuring financial controls and procedures are robust and sustainable, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize business profitability and drive growth.
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Oversee income, payroll, and payment tasks to ensure process consistency and completeness.
  • Implement new controls as required and identify any gaps in financial processes.
  • Present financial information and strategy to the executive team and other departments outside of finance.

Requirements:

  • Experience at Financial Controller level gained from the hotel industry, or at AFC/FM level ready to step-up in your career.
  • Ideally a qualification or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/AAT.
  • Comprehensive accounting experience, ideally with self-accounting knowledge.
  • Supervisory experience with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both within and outside of finance.
