PART 2 - MAIN PURPOSE

This role is pivotal in supporting the deployment of a comprehensive LNG ETRM system while enhancing the LNG framework to align with the objectives of the organization. The individual will assess, filter, and coordinate user requests with the broader project team, establishing and managing user expectations effectively. A robust background in LNG trading and ETRM implementations is essential for success in this position.

PART 3 - JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect business requirements and model operational processes.
  • Articulate solutions at a functional level, including key assumptions and dependencies.
  • Detail business processes that the solution is expected to encompass and the implications of the changes to be executed.
  • Investigate specific issues related to requirements, facilitate decision-making, and achieve consensus.
  • Assist in developing test strategies and cases, and execute these plans.
  • Support technical teams in designing solutions to ensure comprehensive coverage of business processes and requirements.
  • Contribute to decision-making regarding the phased rollout of the solution.
  • Engage in change management activities, including benefits realization planning, training, and communication.
  • Help estimate the effort required for future phases.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to implement technology-driven business transformations.
PART 4 - QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive expertise in LNG Trading.
  • Familiarity with Planlogic EoS is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in shipping management.
  • Knowledge of key Trading, Risk, and product control processes.
  • Strong comprehension of data flows within an energy trading environment.
  • Familiarity with trading and financial terminology.
  • Proven experience in specifying and drafting functional specifications and business requirements for development teams is crucial.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
  • In a dynamic setting, the candidate should possess an understanding of fundamental LNG trading processes, emphasizing risk and product control.
  • The ability to swiftly adapt to and manage shifting business priorities while effectively managing expectations is essential.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse range of key business stakeholders (front, middle, back office) to gather requirements (both functional and non-functional), facilitate workshops, and document outcomes.
