Our LNG Desk
The LNG Desk is a key part of our business, responsible for the physical and financial trading of LNG, as well as the operations of a global portfolio, including LNG vessels on time charter. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Intern.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our LNG Desk in various activities, including analysis, commercial operations, and shipping. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the success of our global LNG team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the LNG Desk in business development for various shipping and operations projects.
- Assist the LNG Desk in energy transition endeavors, including the development of greener and alternative fuels.
- Aid the LNG Desk in overseeing the development of internal IT systems to manage the growing requirements of the business.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Energy or Shipping, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to process sophisticated transactions.
- Enthusiastic personality and excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional IT skills in the MS Windows environment, particularly in Excel.
- Very good team player, high levels of self-motivation, and flexibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of software development and programming languages is desirable.
