IT Support Role

Carbon60 - Eng&Tech, a leading organization, is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This role requires working 5 days a week onsite due to the high level of security the company operates under.

Please note that after the offer of employment, the client will conduct a thorough background check, so only candidates with a British Passport should apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Application Support services on a range of systems, including:
    • Service request fulfillment
    • Incident/Problem/Configuration/Change Management
    • Application Monitoring and Tuning
    • System Administration and Application Upgrades
    • Patching
    • Software and infrastructure enhancements
  • Provide Technical Support on projects at various stages in the systems development lifecycle, including:
    • Assisting in the design of the solution
    • Implementation
  • Provide Implementation engineer services, either directly or by supporting 3rd parties in installing and configuring applications
Engineering Services:
  • Build Assurance activities
  • Operational Acceptance Testing
  • Monitoring and Tuning
  • Architecture/Solution Design
  • Troubleshooting/Resolving implementation issues
Requirements:
  • IT Support background
  • Experience with RHEL and MS Windows Server Operation
  • Knowledge of SQL, Shell, MS PowerShell, etc.
