About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Alfred H. Knight Holdings Limited. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing strategic HR advice and support to our global client group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to understand their 'people' challenges and help shape their thinking.
  • Work closely with the internal HR, talent acquisition, and L&D teams to influence hiring decisions and ensure the best talent is attracted, onboarded, and developed.
  • Support the development of an engaging recruitment and onboarding process to make AHK the employer of choice.
  • Develop and implement a global graduate and leadership talent pool, and create a graduate talent development plan for the business.
  • Take a proactive role in projects, including effective planning, monitoring, and risk management.
  • Lead engagement initiatives to maximize employee performance and make AHK a great place to work.
  • Drive change and help leaders manage change within a complex business environment.
  • Support complex ER cases, including performance management, absence, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Manage the exit interview process, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support and coach managers with talent and succession planning.
  • Streamline and automate processes, including the rollout of digital systems.
  • Develop and implement coherent people plans within the client group to achieve organizational and cultural change.
  • Take the lead on complex case management and use analytics to deliver service and business improvements.
Requirements
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Quality: 'Right first-time' approach, completes work to a high standard, and continually looks for improvements.
  • Project management: Dynamic with the ability to deal with multiple varied projects at any one time.
  • Stakeholder management: Coaching and mentoring, critical friend, influencing skills.

Required Work Experience

  • Demonstrable track record of progression within a relevant HR function in a complex/matrix structure.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a complex HR function at 'Generalist/HR Advisor' level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BA / BSc Degree in HR is desirable.
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 in HR.

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Regular UK and occasional overseas travel.

Required Languages

  • Spanish is desirable.
