Female Specialist Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Specialist Support Worker to join our Complex Needs Service in London. As a key member of our team, you will work with young women who are homeless, care leavers, or ex-offenders with high support needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to young women, focusing on safeguarding, building strong relationships, and helping them achieve their goals.
- Conduct welfare check-ins, attend multi-agency meetings, and ensure the living spaces are safe and free of any issues.
- Support residents with developing life skills, understanding tenancy agreements, and maintaining their homes.
- Manage challenging behavior while maintaining a supportive and approachable demeanor.
- Experience working with vulnerable young women, especially those who have experienced homelessness or have high support needs.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and handle IT and report writing tasks.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and trauma-informed care principles.
- A 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) with a mix of early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
