Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview: As an Automotive Quality Engineer, you will be entrusted with comprehensive APQP responsibilities for our automotive sector, ensuring seamless collaboration across various departments to meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of essential quality tools, including Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, and SOPs.
- Utilize your expertise to address customer complaints through thorough investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, while managing 8D reports and maintaining effective customer communication.
- Participate in FMEA reviews as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to action plans aimed at risk mitigation.
- Work closely with the quality team to conduct internal, process, and product audits according to established schedules, and provide support during external audits as needed.
- Engage directly with automotive clients, conducting site visits as required to foster strong relationships.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels to identify opportunities for overall enhancement.
- Interpret relevant standards and regulations, ensuring the provision of necessary documentation and certifications.
- Employ your leadership and project management skills to collaborate with production teams, identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a quality engineer within the automotive industry.
- Proficient in core quality tools.
- Trained as an IATF 16949 internal auditor.
- Experience in top-level contract reviews.
- Background in engineering or manufacturing.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated integrity and teamwork.
- Positive mindset and self-motivated.
