Job Description

White Raven Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our factory by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Carry out all maintenance and repair work to the highest possible standards across the site.
  • Breakdown Response: Attend to breakdowns onsite, ensuring a rapid response and minimizing plant equipment and machinery downtime.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Carry out PPM onsite, ensuring a proactive approach to planned maintenance and a high PPM output.
  • Engineering Time Management: Manage engineering time effectively, ensuring low engineering downtime and delivering on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs.
  • Improvement Work: Deliver improvement work on machinery and site improvement work, ensuring a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years engineering experience, multiskilled with formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher, nationally recognized apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, and 17th or 18th Edition Certification.
  • Person Specification: Proactive approach to fault finding, commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development. Ability to work under pressure, effective communication skills, and computer literacy.
  • Experience: Proven experience of working within the food industry, experience of working in a bakery environment, and exposure to metal detectors, mixers, depositors, and flow wrappers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a warm environment, physically fit, and able to work 12-hour shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends.
