Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at White Raven Resourcing Ltd. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment is running at peak performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Collaborate with production staff, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance role, with a formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher in an electrical or mechanical subject.
  • Skills: Proactive approach to fault finding, commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development. Ability to work under pressure, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience: Proven experience of working within the food industry, with experience of working in a bakery environment preferable.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a warm environment, with physical demands including manual handling, working at height, and standing for long periods.
