**Key Responsibilities**

**Operations**

  • Deliver all import and export requirements for assigned clients and overseas agents, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Resolve and communicate discrepancies or delays to clients and overseas partners in a professional and timely manner.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best service and pricing for clients.

**Customer Service**

  • Provide exceptional customer communication at all times, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain client and department standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and report development opportunities to enhance business growth.
  • Manage credit limits and ensure timely receipt of duty and VAT payments.

**Administration**

  • Create Cargowise shipments and manage order management and tracking information.
  • Complete sales and purchase e-billing, as well as job costing and profit details for each job.
  • Upload commercial documents to eDocs/Cargowise and process deferment account records.
  • Load Non-Conformance Exceptions to Cargowise where applicable.

**Compliance**

  • Ensure compliance with all customs requirements and stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations.
  • Represent the company's best interests at all times, adhering to company values and maintaining a positive work environment.

**Location**

This role can be based onsite or in a hybrid arrangement, with a minimum of 3 days spent at our Egham office.

**Requirements**

  • At least 2 years of experience in an airfreight operations role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with pride and professionalism.
  • Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of import and export airfreight regulations.
  • Customs knowledge is mandatory, with working hazardous knowledge being desirable.
  • Experience with CargoWise is also desirable.
