About the Site Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Manager to join our team at Shanly Homes Ltd. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the build programme, ensuring that key dates are met and any movement in these are well managed and communicated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the build programme, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the site, including management of sub-contractors and labourers.
  • Manage all aspects of health and safety, ensuring that these are upheld at all times and take actions for improvement.
  • Continually monitor the quality of the build, rectifying any issues and ensuring that the finished homes are exceptionally finished and presented.
  • Collaborate with other regional teams to ensure problems are addressed and rectified.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience working for a residential house builder in a site manager role.
  • Excellent team player and manager able to motivate site teams.
  • Demonstrable understanding and application of health and safety best practice and legislation.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • SMSTS qualified, CSCS card, first aider, and fire marshal.
