About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for coordinating all supervisors, teams, and work activities on behalf of the Senior site manager/project manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the teams assigned to all work fronts, ensuring work is executed to Time, Quality & Cost.
  • Carry out any other duties within their competence to the relevant quality/industry standards as directed by the Installation Manager.
  • Operate within timescales set out by the site management and highlight potential deviations in advance, including coordinating with other work parties to ensure efficient and safe working by all.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Lead by example by adhering to the site rules as briefed by them to all site team members.
  • Comply with the Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans and know their duties to be discharged in each case.
  • Proactively participate in the completion of all task cards allocated to their team to the required timescale and comply with timesheet and expenses submission timescales.
Requirements
  • Apprentice trained, C&G Minimum NVQ Level 3 (Appropriate Course) plus 3 years' experience as a supervisor.
  • Or degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a supervisor from graduation in an Electricity Supply Industry construction site or similar (Power Generation, Oil & Gas or General Construction Sites).
  • Experienced preferred in participating in site activities comprising of mechanical and electrical installation.
  • Comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation/practice within a substation environment.
  • Requires the presence and personal qualities necessary to effectively lead site teams and work within a team or individually as required.
Qualifications
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Working at Height.
  • Fire safety awareness.
  • SMSTS.
  • IOSH managing safely.

  • NG Competent Person NSI8. (Limited).
