Job Summary

Home Instead is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling our services to clients while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to meet client needs and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Care Director to ensure sufficient staffing levels and resource allocation.
  • Match Care Assistants with clients based on their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure accurate and timely scheduling, taking into account travel time, holidays, training, and last-minute cancellations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, Care Assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze scheduling data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis and provide support to clients and Care Assistants as needed.
  • Deliver care to clients when covering staff sickness and holidays.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a scheduling role within home care or a similar industry.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Logical and analytical thinking, with the ability to work with initiative and meet deadlines.
  • UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • Experience in care or a related field.
