Job Title: Tutorial Officer Office Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tutorial Officer Office Administrator to join our team at The One Group. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy tutorial office, supporting students and providing administrative support to the Senior Tutor's and Director of Studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examination administration, including EAA applications, arranging exams, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of University examination regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with the preparation of GB Reports and maintain student records on the student database.
  • Administer the College's online reporting system for recording academic supervision.
  • Arrange end-of-term appointments with Tutors and ensure they have essential documentation.
  • Assist with the organisation of events and make changes to the Tutorial section of the College website.
  • Keep up-to-date files and records on all matters involving Tutors and students.
  • Assist with the termly contact of overseas students and monitor visa renewals.
  • Assist with generating standard letters and respond promptly to student enquiries or concerns.
  • Process Bursary Applications and produce statistical reports from databases.
  • Handle confidential information, including sensitive personal data, appropriately.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Excellent standard of written English.
  • Significant experience in senior administration, preferably in a University setting.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Able to use initiative and judgement to problem solve.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet packages.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Able to recognise confidential information and handle it appropriately.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team.
Working Hours and Benefits:

36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend and evening work during busy examination periods. A generous salary of between £32,872 and £34,199, plus excellent benefits, including a generous pension and free lunches on site.
