Job Summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our postgraduate office as a PhD Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to academic staff, postgraduate applicants, and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer PhD admissions and first-year PhD students
  • Provide administrative advice and support to academic staff, postgraduate applicants, and students
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and develop knowledge of University policies
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in a higher education setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
