About the Role

The One Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tutorial Officer to provide administrative support to our academic team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our tutorial office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination Administration: Coordinate examination logistics, including EAA applications, exam arrangements, and invigilation recruitment.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Assist with the preparation of GB Reports and maintain accurate student records on our student database (Cam SIS).
  • Online Reporting System: Administer our online reporting system for recording academic supervision (CamCORS).
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the organization of events as requested by our Senior Tutor and/or Tutors.
  • Website Maintenance: Make updates to the Tutorial section of our College website in compliance with our standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date files and records on all matters involving Tutors and students.
  • Student Support: Respond promptly to student enquiries or concerns, and process Bursary Applications in a timely fashion.
  • Statistical Reporting: Produce statistical reports from databases, including CamSIS.
  • Confidentiality: Handle confidential information, including sensitive personal data, appropriately.
Requirements
  • Excellent Written English: Demonstrate a high standard of written communication.
  • Senior Administration Experience: Possess significant experience in a senior administrative role, preferably in a University setting.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Exhibit a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in your work.
  • Time Management: Be able to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage a demanding workload.
  • Problem-Solving: Use initiative and judgment to problem-solve and make decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as internet packages.
  • Communication: Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Confidentiality: Recognize confidential information and handle it appropriately, demonstrating discretion and professionalism.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist other team members.
