Job Title: Payroll Process Assistant

Berry Recruitment is seeking a skilled Payroll Process Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for providing transaction processing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process work in line with agreed procedures, business rules, or scripts, including making calls, answering telephone, emails, queries, taking messages, or processing transactions.
  • Learn and understand the procedures for producing a quality output.
  • Process work to the defined level of quality.
  • Resolve queries, escalate as necessary, and log if appropriate.
  • Schedule and prioritize allocated work daily.
  • Distribute information and work with other team members or groups as required.
  • Identify and suggest areas of improvement.
  • Maintain and update information held on a database or manually.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
