About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Compass, working across educational settings and the community to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the services we provide with children, young people, families, and educational settings, and to develop your career in mental health support to children, young people, and families.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Mental Health Practitioner with experience of working with children and young people's mental health and emotional wellbeing services.

Compass is an early intervention mental health and emotional wellbeing service covering Central & West Lancashire, delivering evidenced-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.

You will be knowledgeable and experienced in working with CYP with mental health needs, completing mental health assessments, providing practice supervision and support, and providing specialist care directly to children and young people and families.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to network with other agencies are essential for this role.

You must possess a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.

About Us

Compass is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and you should share our commitment. All Compass posts are subject to appropriate level DBS checks.

We positively encourage applications from all members of the community, regardless of gender, race, faith, disability, gender reassignment, age, or sexual orientation.

We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments individuals may require in the recruitment process, on commencement, or once in post.
