About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Policing Officer. As a key member of our division, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety and building strong relationships with our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visible policing presence in our communities, engaging with residents and businesses to address concerns and prevent crime.
  • Work closely with local stakeholders, including community leaders, schools, and businesses, to identify and address community issues.
  • Conduct investigations, gather intelligence, and provide evidence to support crime prevention and detection efforts.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to share best practices and resources.
  • Develop and implement community-based initiatives to promote public safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Be aged 17 at date of application, with a minimum age of 18 at the time of appointment.
  • Have lived in the UK for three continuous years immediately prior to application.
  • Have leave to enter or remain in the UK for an indefinite period.
  • Hold a full UK manual driving license.
  • Meet the necessary qualifications and standards for the role, including GCSE Maths and English grade A*-C/9-4 or a Level 2 equivalent.
