Key Responsibilities:- Health and Safety Compliance: Provide support to regional management teams to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Health and Safety Audits: Conduct systematic audits and inspections of construction sites, offices, and other workplaces to verify compliance with legislative requirements and health and safety management systems.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and learning points.
- Risk Assessment: Assist regional management teams and employees with the preparation of risk assessments and identification of suitable control measures.
- Documentation: Assist with the development and maintenance of safety-related documentation, such as manuals, procedures, guidance notes, and forms.
- Liaison: Liaise with clients, HSE Inspectors, and external assessors.
- Experience: Extensive experience of health and safety practice, with experience in the Water Treatment/Construction industry.
- Qualifications: Formal qualification in Occupational Safety and Health, such as a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Skills: Proficient report writing skills and knowledge of current statutory health and safety law in the UK, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
- CSCS Card: Possession of a CSCS card or affiliated scheme (SHEA Water).
