Job Purpose:

To strategically manage key accounts to ensure annual revenue growth, volume, and profit targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, review, and revise detailed customer business plans to drive the achievement of account full-year sales and volume budgets.
  • Develop business strategies to match the Princes proposition with customer needs, resulting in increased sales and revenue.
  • Manage customer relationships, develop business plans, and implement promotional activities to deliver sales and volume budgets.
  • Implement effective account management procedures, including sales forecasting, price file maintenance, and contract management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer profitability and implement strategies to improve it.
  • Proactively identify problems and implement solutions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Deputize for the General Sales Manager as required.

Requirements:

  • Extensive account management experience, preferably in the food or drink industry.
  • Commercial experience of retail, CFI (Convenience Foodservice and Industrial) customers would be an advantage.
  • Graduate calibre.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a high level of numeracy.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
  • Project management experience would be an advantage.
