Main Purpose of the Post

The Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the fundraising strategy of Synergy Theatre Project, working closely with the Artistic Director and General Manager to secure funding and resources that will enable the company to achieve its long-term artistic and organisational ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funding from a variety of sources, including trusts, foundations, corporate partners, and individual donors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing funders and identify new opportunities for funding.
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director and General Manager to develop and deliver a compelling case for support that showcases the impact and value of Synergy's work.
  • Manage and report on fundraising activities, including tracking progress against targets and providing regular updates to the senior leadership team.
