Clear IT Recruitment Limited is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their team in Cornwall.

The Private Client department of this modern thinking firm has seen unprecedented growth recently and is expanding its services to meet the needs of high-net-worth clients.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent technical ability and knowledge of the wide range of private client areas of expertise, including wills, trusts, probate, court of protection, and estate-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake fee-earning work, working both independently and as a member of the team, and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department.
  • To maintain existing relations with the firm's clients and be active in business development, gaining new clients and growing their caseload.
  • Conduct of private client and related matters on behalf of clients, including drafting of wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney.
  • To achieve personal and team targets, audit, and quality requirements.
  • Financial control of their own matters, with regard to cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
  • Assist with the development of the Private Client department in Cornwall.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years PQE in Private Client law.
  • Excellent technical ability and knowledge of private client areas of expertise.
  • Experience dealing with high-net-worth clients.
