Job Summary:

Holiferm is a pioneering biotechnology company driving the transition of the surfactant market towards sustainable biosurfactants. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Technician to join our research and development team in Manchester or our commercial plant in Wallasey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in driving down manufacturing costs and improving sustainability.
  • Contribute to the development of new molecules from ideation to market.
  • Ensure experiments and the laboratory are running smoothly, facilitating results needed to make technical improvements to the process.
  • Perform data entry and input.
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation to ensure a safe and efficient lab environment.
  • Aid in the implementation of defined protocols/test methods.
  • Carry out basic repairs and build for laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to work with hands and manual repair.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
