Food and Beverage Service Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Darwin Escapes in Irvine, Ayrshire. This is a seasonal position to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business. As a member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, assisting with clearing and resetting tables, serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the bar and restaurant areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take food and drink orders
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Be responsible for accurate and efficient stock rotation
- Be responsible for accurate cash handling, using EPOS system
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the bar and restaurant areas is always maintained to a five-star standard
- Assist with the swift collection of glasses and tableware
Requirements:
- Similar previous experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills are essential
- A driving license and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use of Resort vehicles
