Barback - Arcade Food Hall

Arcade Food Hall is in search of a dedicated Barback to enhance our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, be approachable, and have a genuine enthusiasm for the culinary and beverage arts. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within the Barback sector, receiving comprehensive and continuous support throughout their journey.

The Venue:

Situated conveniently in a prime location, Arcade Food Hall embodies our fundamental belief in showcasing diverse brands and supporting emerging talent in the food and beverage industry, all within a single venue.

The space is home to nine distinctive brands, including a flagship southern Thai restaurant, a North Indian street food outlet, a Middle Eastern shawarma kitchen, an American diner, Indonesian street food, and a Japanese sushi experience. Our bar features drinks crafted from fresh, local ingredients that reflect the culinary offerings, complemented by a dynamic schedule of events.

As a Barback, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the opening and closing procedures of the bar, ensuring all checklists are completed and SOPs are followed.
  • Preparing the bar area with necessary supplies.
  • Supporting bartenders during service to maintain efficiency.
  • Operating glass washing equipment and ensuring glassware is polished and readily available.
  • Restocking supplies before, during, and after service, adhering to best practices for inventory management.
  • Assisting bartenders as needed to uphold the highest standards of customer service.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and its equipment.
  • Ensuring the storage area is well-stocked and kept in order at all times.
  • Participating in briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Reporting low inventory, health and safety concerns, and any equipment malfunctions to the bar manager.
