Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As an integral part of our Keystone Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, holistic care to individuals with mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Clinical Lead in developing and implementing the service, ensuring seamless integration with primary care and community resources.
  • Supervise and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Screen, triage, and assess referrals, coordinating care plans and interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including brief support and time-limited therapy, to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with primary care and community services to develop care pathways and ensure smooth transitions for patients.
  • Map community resources and assets to support individuals with severe mental illness, promoting access to dedicated mental health support.
Person Specification
  • Current professional registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist.
  • Postgraduate education in a relevant field, particularly in client group-specific training.
  • Community experience in mental health services for adults and older adults with severe or significant mental illness.
  • Experience working in primary and secondary mental health services, with a focus on person-centred care and psychosocial interventions.
