We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our Older Adult Community Mental Health Team as a Support Time Recovery Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing specific areas of the care plan, promoting a therapeutic relationship with agreed boundaries and time scales, and providing regular support to patients. They will also assist clients in completing standardized assessments, join clinicians to co-assess routine and urgent referrals, and develop educational tools for clients and their families.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with a caring and supportive attitude, who is able to communicate effectively with older adults experiencing mental health difficulties. Essential criteria include a maths and English GCSE, experience of working in a care setting, and some knowledge of mental health. Desirable criteria include NVQ level 3 or equivalent, previous experience of working with older adults, and experience of working in a mental health community setting.
