About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Planner to join our team at King and Moffatt. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project planning controls and accurate reporting across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software, adhering to company procedures and industry best practices.
  • Develop and communicate project schedules to the project team, including the company, clients, design teams, and trade contractors.
  • Manage progress reporting and integrate progress information into company reports.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and produce weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.
  • Engage in change management processes to determine the impact of changes on project schedules.
  • Create and manage commissioning programs, develop commissioning KPIs, and reporting regimes.
  • Prepare time impact analyses to support extension of time claims and evaluate extension of time claims from trade contractors.
  • Mentor and provide training to junior staff.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as an M&E Planner, ideally on high-end residential or commercial building services projects.
  • Previous experience using MS Project is essential.
  • Experience working in construction planning in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services contracting is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to produce reports.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to converse with clients and stakeholders at ease.
  • Ability to work to own directive and stick to strict timeline schedules.
