Financial Management Specialist

Reporting Line: Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assess the financial performance of the organization based on financial records.
- Identify areas of concern and provide recommendations to management.
- Communicate and interpret financial data for non-financial managers.
- Oversee the maintenance of Sterling bank accounts.
- Code and post all cash transactions related to bank activities.
- Manage weekly cash banked and process till incomes.
- Record utility accruals and post revenue.
- Conduct weekly uploads for procurement.
- Maintain domestic and non-domestic rates.
- Oversee costs related to staff properties and collaborate with HR during payroll year-end.
- Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaise with point-of-sale systems and accounting software vendors.
- Ensure account integrity in financial systems and create new authorized accounts.
- Generate statistical reports and analyses as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end audits and financial reporting processes.
- Review UK codes for accuracy and make necessary amendments.
- Analyze sales against expenses and investigate discrepancies.
- Process House Capex requests.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs to maintain controls and mitigate risks.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates with the following essential skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial tools.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in discounted cash flows, business production processes, financial data processing, and bookkeeping.
