Salary Range: £30,000 - £34,000

Reporting Structure: Reports to Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Assess the financial performance of the organization based on financial records.
  • Identify financial discrepancies and present actionable recommendations to management.
  • Communicate and clarify financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of Sterling bank accounts.
  • Code primary bank transactions and manage cash book entries related to banking activities.
  • Process income from tills and manage weekly cash deposits.
  • Record utility accruals and post revenue entries.
  • Manage weekly uploads for procurement processes.
  • Maintain records for domestic and non-domestic rates.
  • Supervise costs related to staff properties and collaborate with HR during payroll year-end.
  • Handle the Accounts Receivable inbox.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with vendors for point-of-sale systems and accounting software.
  • Ensure the accuracy of accounts in Access Financials and create new authorized accounts.
  • Generate statistical reports and conduct analyses as needed.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end audits and financial reporting processes.
  • Review UK relevant codes for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
  • Analyze sales against expenses and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Process capital expenditure requests.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures to maintain controls and mitigate risks.

  • Excellent organizational abilities.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in discounted cash flows, business production processes, financial data processing, and bookkeeping is advantageous.
