Position: Management Accountant

Location: Hybrid

Contract Type: Permanent Full Time, 37.5 Hours per week

Salary Range: £30,000 - £34,000

Reporting Line: Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Assess the financial performance of the organization based on financial records.
  • Identify areas of concern and provide recommendations to management.
  • Communicate and explain financial data to non-financial managers.
  • Manage Sterling bank accounts, excluding flight and forex transactions.
  • Code primary bank transactions and post all cash books related to the bank.
  • Process income from tills and oversee weekly cash management.
  • Enter utility accruals and post revenue.
  • Upload data to Procure Wizard on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain domestic and non-domestic rates.
  • Oversee costs related to staff properties and liaise with HR at payroll year-end.
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox.
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with point-of-sale, accounting software, and system vendors.
  • Ensure the integrity of accounts in Access Financials and create new authorized accounts.
  • Generate statistical reports and analyses as needed.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end audits and financial reporting processes.
  • Review UK relevant codes for accuracy and make necessary amendments.
  • Analyze UK sales against expenses and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Process House Capex requests.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs to maintain controls and mitigate risks.

Candidate Profile:
We are interested in candidates who possess the following essential skills:
  • Familiarity with financial tools.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience in discounted cash flows, business production processes, financial data processing, and bookkeeping is advantageous.
