Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our production team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the production of high-profile military projects, working on the manufacture, assembly, and build of specialist projects using engineering drawings and associated design data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture, assemble, and build specialist projects to meet business and customer expectations
  • Support Production Managers and Team Leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard
  • Work with a range of materials and equipment to produce high-quality products
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • Mechanical, fitting, or joining experience
  • Previous experience in automotive or heavy industry highly desirable
  • Understanding and experience in Assembly processes and techniques
  • Competent skills gained through training and experience and ability to communicate within team
  • Familiar with a workshop environment
  • Understanding of Production methods and processes
