Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

Marshall Land Systems is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their production team in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in the production of high-profile military projects, working on the assembly and manufacture of vehicles and containers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture, assemble, and build specialist projects using engineering drawings and associated design data.
  • Support the Production Managers and Team Leaders to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard.
  • Work with a range of materials and equipment, including metal, wood, and plastic.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean and 5s procedures.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical, fitting, or joining experience.
  • Previous experience in automotive or heavy industry highly desirable.
  • Understanding and experience in Assembly processes and techniques.
  • Competent skills gained through training and experience and ability to communicate within team.
  • Familiar with a workshop environment.
