Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Operations Partner to oversee the finance teams located at our sites, ensuring optimal operational performance. This role involves providing essential decision-making support to site management and ensuring compliance with internal control standards as per group policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the site finance team, fostering engagement, focus, and professional development.
  • Take charge of the internal control framework at the site, addressing identified risks effectively.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet through comprehensive monthly reviews and maintain a thorough understanding of balance sheet components, including associated risks and opportunities.
  • Enhance site financial performance with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, including direct labor, waste management, and fixed costs, by offering support and constructive challenge to site and budget holders.
  • Act as the primary steward of the site capital process, which includes planning and prioritizing future expenditures, maintaining an accurate overview of capital cash flow, and monitoring project timelines from initiation to completion.
  • Contribute to the broader operational finance team to drive continuous improvements in controls, efficiency, and operational practices.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications with relevant post-qualification experience in Retail, Manufacturing, or FMCG sectors. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
