**Job Title:** Business & Contract Support

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business & Contract Support professional to join our team at Thames Water Utilities Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our business operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety Administration: Monitor and report on health and safety actions, observations, and audits on a weekly basis, producing a dashboard for the Area Operations Manager.
  • Site Information Management: Keep all hubs on sites updated, including Site Information Cards (SICs) and Standard Operating Manuals (SOMs).
  • Supply Chain Management: Order, receive, and issue chemicals within specified timeframes, including gas cylinder movement.
  • Facilities Management: Arrange minor civils, general maintenance, tree surgery, fence repairs, and pest control services from request to completion.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Record actions in Risk, Work Planning, and Area Performance meetings, as well as ad-hoc meetings as required.
  • Training and Development: Lead meetings with the area management team to ensure all health and safety training is monitored and updated for the area.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various office duties, including filing, organizing photocopier and printer repair, ID card expiries, and operational requirements as they arise.
  • IT Systems and Software: Learn company IT systems (SAP, Safeguard, APS, etc.) and become fully competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Travel and Transportation: Possess a full UK driving license.

  • Holiday Entitlement: 24 days per year, increasing to 28 days (pro rata) with length of service, plus bank holidays.
  • Salary: Up to £30,000 (pro rata) depending on skills and experience.
