Financial Planning Specialist

At Forseven, we are revolutionising the electric vehicle industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices. Our highly skilled and dynamic Finance department is seeking a Financial Planning Specialist to join our team.
The role will operate in a hybrid capacity, allowing you to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will partner with business functions and collaborate with the whole finance team to manage the financial impact of programme changes and new products or features on development costs and bill of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgets, track spend, analyse variances and update forecasts.
- Analise key projects and help prepare business cases to understand costs/benefits and deliver value for money.
- Help maintain strong governance and control on departmental spend.
- Play a key role in the budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning processes, collaborating across finance teams.
- Business partner with key stakeholders in the business providing clear financials, and value adding analysis.
About You:
- Part/Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Analytical and system focused.
- Willing to roll up sleeves as required and adapt to change.
- Experience in Management Accounting, Finance Business Partnering or FP&A.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel; comfortable using it as primary tool and enjoying finding creative solutions to achieve desired result.
- Basic knowledge of PowerQuery / PowerBI; excited to use and learn more about these tools.
