About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Team Leader to join our team at the Aster Group. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team of caring professionals and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of care professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Ensure that all care staff are trained and equipped to provide the best possible care to residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with a focus on dementia care.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
