Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Team Leader to join our team at the Aster Group. As a Senior Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a dedicated team of caring professionals and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure that each resident's individual needs are met, and that our care home maintains its high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of caring professionals to ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure that each resident's individual needs are met
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our residents
  • Ensure that our care home maintains its high standards of care and quality
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our residents receive a seamless service

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a residential care setting
  • Demonstrable understanding and experience of administering medication
  • Excellent understanding of Personalised Care Plans
  • Knowledge of dementia
  • Very good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Compassionate and patient approach
  • Hold a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3
  • Pass our DBS check or be on the update service
