Job Title: Prescription Administrator

Job Summary

The Prescription Administrator will be based at our Reading office and will sit within the operations team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and patient-centric individual who wants to help Montu patients and clinicians get the best out of the service.

The candidate will be part of the UK founding team and will help establish the operations and patient-facing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer patient queries by telephone and email
  • Maintain patients' electronic health records
  • Maintain full and accurate records of prescriptions
  • Work closely with the pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure smooth dispensing and delivery of medication to patients
  • Update patients with any changes in their prescription
  • Work with partner pharmacies to ensure prescriptions sent externally are delivered and dispensed correctly
  • Support operational and clinical recruitment and onboarding
  • Collate feedback and liaise with the Head of Governance on complaints and compliments
  • Report incidents and significant events and liaise with the Head of Governance on incident and significant events
  • Support clinicians working in the service with operational queries
  • Liaise with the product and tech support team on technical issues
  • Work closely with the line manager and wider team on service improvement
  • Attend work-related meetings as required
  • Maintain all mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPs
  • Be flexible with working hours and shifts as required
Requirements
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Working in a healthcare environment is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of working in a highly regulated industry and following policies and SOPs
  • High level of IT proficiency
  • Ability to work under pressure
