Role Overview

As a Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Food and Beverage Team.

  • Proactively manage the Food and Beverage Team as needed.
  • Ensure all departments are sufficiently staffed within budgetary constraints.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and facilitate the growth of current staff through training and mentorship.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager by evaluating team performance, conducting regular assessments, and addressing any issues with the Management Team.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to drive new business initiatives and suggest innovative strategies to meet objectives.
  • Alongside the Food and Beverage Manager, assess your performance during reviews and annual evaluations, identifying personal development needs.
  • Be versatile across departments to meet customer demands, ensuring operational efficiency.

Customer Focus

Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, ensuring all patrons receive exceptional service and a value-driven experience that encourages return visits.

  • Stay informed about current promotions and offerings (both gaming and non-gaming) to enhance customer experience.
  • Deliver friendly, accurate, and prompt service of food and beverages, responding positively to customer requests in line with the Company's Service Standards.
  • Maintain awareness of daily, weekly, and monthly targets, ensuring the Food and Beverage Team is aligned to achieve these goals.
  • Actively promote the customer loyalty program.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to safeguarding young and vulnerable individuals, adhering to responsible gambling policies and procedures.

Shareholder Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all monetary transactions and electronic point of sale duties.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of our Food & Beverage offerings.
  • Understand all equipment within the Food and Beverage Department, reporting any malfunctions to the Management Team.
  • Ensure stock replenishment is completed, providing customers access to all available products.
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for stocks, managing quality and controls, and addressing any issues with the Management Team.
  • Comply with all sanitation and food safety regulations, maintaining cleaning schedules and high standards of housekeeping.
  • Foster an environment that promotes responsible drinking. Additional responsibilities include adherence to departmental and company standards, training requirements, and compliance issues, detailed in the Employee Fact-File.

Qualifications
  • Passion for delivering outstanding Customer Service.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage operations in a similar setting.
  • Familiarity with the leisure and food and beverage industry, including legislation, best practices, and current trends.
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification in Hospitality.
  • Experience in team leadership.
  • Knowledge of company training programs (e.g., Service That Sells, Perfect Serve).
