Role Overview

As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will:

Lead the Food and Beverage Team with enthusiasm and dedication. Ensure all departments are well-staffed and operate within budgetary constraints. Assist in onboarding new team members and support the growth of existing staff through training and mentorship. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to assess team performance, conducting regular evaluations and addressing any issues with management. Work alongside the Management Team to drive new business initiatives and suggest innovative strategies to meet our goals. Participate in self-assessments and annual reviews to identify personal development needs and training opportunities. Acquire skills in various departments to ensure optimal operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and a value-driven experience that encourages repeat visits. Stay informed about current promotions and offerings to enhance the customer experience. Provide friendly, efficient, and prompt service of food and beverages, responding positively to customer requests. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets, motivating the Food and Beverage Team to achieve these goals. Promote our customer loyalty program actively. Uphold our commitment to safeguarding young and vulnerable individuals in line with responsible gambling policies.

Accountability

Manage all financial transactions and electronic point-of-sale responsibilities accurately. Maintain a thorough understanding of our Food & Beverage offerings. Ensure familiarity with all equipment in the Food and Beverage Department, reporting any issues to management. Guarantee stock levels are maintained to provide customers with access to all available products. Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, reporting any concerns to management. Ensure accurate accounting for stock, managing quality and controls effectively. Adhere to sanitation and food safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Foster an environment that promotes responsible consumption.

Qualifications

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Practical knowledge of food and beverage operations in a similar setting. Understanding of the leisure and food and beverage industry, including relevant legislation and current trends. NVQ Level 2 qualification in Hospitality. Proven experience in team leadership. Familiarity with company training programs (e.g., Service That Sells, Perfect Serve).
