Role Overview

As a Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Enthusiastically guide the Food and Beverage Team as necessary.
  • Ensure all departments are sufficiently staffed within budgetary constraints.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and support the ongoing development of current staff through training and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to assess team performance, conducting regular evaluations and addressing any issues with the Management Team.
  • Actively engage with the Management Team to drive new business initiatives and propose innovative strategies to meet objectives.
  • In partnership with the Food and Beverage Manager, evaluate your own performance during reviews and annual assessments, identifying personal development needs.
  • Be versatile across departments to ensure operational efficiency and meet customer demands.

Customer Focus

Your role will emphasize customer satisfaction, ensuring all patrons receive exceptional service and a value-driven experience that encourages repeat visits.

  • Stay informed about current promotions and offerings (both gaming and non-gaming) to enhance customer experience.
  • Proactively deliver friendly, accurate, and prompt service of food and beverages, responding positively to customer requests in line with the Company’s service standards.
  • Maintain awareness of daily, weekly, and monthly targets, ensuring the Food and Beverage Team works effectively to achieve these goals.
  • Promote the customer loyalty program actively.
  • Uphold the company’s commitment to safeguarding young and vulnerable individuals, adhering to responsible gambling policies and procedures.

Accountability
  • Take responsibility for all monetary transactions and electronic point-of-sale duties.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of our Food & Beverage offerings.
  • Understand all equipment within the Food and Beverage Department, reporting any malfunctions to the Management Team.
  • Ensure stock replenishment is completed to provide customers with access to all available products.
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, escalating any concerns to the Management Team.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for stock, managing quality and controls, and addressing any issues with the Management Team.
  • Comply with all sanitation and food safety regulations, maintaining cleaning schedules and standards of presentation.
  • Foster an environment that promotes responsible drinking.

Qualifications
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage operations in a similar setting.
  • Understanding of the leisure and food and beverage industry, including legislation and best practices.
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification in Hospitality.
  • Experience in team leadership.
  • Familiarity with company training programs (e.g., Service That Sells, Perfect Serve).
