Position Overview:
The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the food and beverage services within the establishment. This position requires a blend of management skills and operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of food and beverage services across various areas, including the main dining area and event spaces.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocktaking and ordering of beverages and consumables.
- Support event management and coordination.
- Manage cellar operations effectively.
- Provide leadership and supervision to the team of assistants and supervisors.
- Act as the deputy to the Clubhouse Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Ensure that the facility is well-stocked and prepared for service.
- Maintain the cellar and manage beer lines.
- Respond to inquiries regarding food and beverage offerings.
- Implement health and safety regulations to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Adhere to equipment usage and maintenance guidelines.
- Ensure all workspaces are tidy and presentable.
- Conduct morning preparations and evening closures, including cash handling.
- Secure cash in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare end-of-day reports.
- Serve as the designated fire warden during shifts.
- Ensure that team members are trained in food and beverage service protocols.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety policies within the department.
Performance Objectives:
- Uphold company policies and ensure customer satisfaction is achieved at the highest level.
- Responsible for the management of staff and equipment, including the Epos system and cellar operations.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager or General Manager.
