About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our Fleet Management team, you will be responsible for supporting the team with all breakdowns and fleet administration tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Breakdown Management: Follow up on all breakdowns to ensure timely resolutions and maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers.
  • System Maintenance: Input maintenance and repair data into our Fleet Management system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Tyre Information Management: Record and update tyre information in our FM system, ensuring up-to-date records.
  • Inbound Call Handling: Manage inbound calls related to HGV breakdowns and provide support to customers and suppliers.
  • Team Support: Assist wider teams with call handling, fleet maintenance bookings, and administrative tasks, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • VOR Time Updates: Monitor and update Vehicle Off Road (VOR) times, ensuring accurate records.
  • Collaboration: Work as part of a team of Fleet Maintenance Support Advisors, contributing to the success of our Fleet Management team.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience as a Fleet Administrator is highly beneficial, with a strong understanding of breakdown practices and fleet management systems.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables, to analyze and present data effectively.
  • IT Competency: Proficiency in internal systems, Outlook, and general IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Industry Knowledge: Any experience or knowledge of the fleet/HGV sector or commercial vehicle sector is advantageous, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
