About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team at St Christopher's Hospice. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our People Strategy and contributing to the management of change within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver HR initiatives and programs to support the organization's strategic and operational plans.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Coach managers on effective people management practices, policies, and procedures, and provide support in dealing with performance management responsibilities.
Requirements
  • MCIPD qualification or equivalent experience, with significant experience working in a busy HR department, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.
  • Experience providing expert HR advice on employee relations cases and transformation programs, such as TUPEs and Restructures.
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting managers through formal processes, including producing high-quality management cases and reports.
  • Strong understanding of employment law principles, HR best practice, and equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to manage complex employee relations cases and contribute to HR policies and procedures.
