About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Director to oversee our operations across the London and South regions. This pivotal role is situated within our Education division, which focuses on delivering high-quality catering services to students. Our commitment is to provide nutritious, fresh, and sustainable food options, ensuring that young people receive the best possible nourishment for their well-being.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities and a proven track record of achieving results through effective team management. The role encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • Fostering a culture of exceptional customer service within the community.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company standards within the designated area.
  • Driving financial growth and surpassing financial objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior clients to enhance service delivery and competitive advantage.
  • Overseeing the Operations Management function within the assigned area.
  • Managing recruitment, training, and development of the operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Supporting the sales team with operational insights during site visits and presentations.

Working Pattern
Monday to Friday

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in contract catering within a senior management role across multiple sites.
  • Experience in the education sector is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong track record of successful client engagement.
  • Confidence in financial management and P&L oversight.
